RELIGIOUS COURSES

I give Quran lessons in 30-minute individual sessions.

During these 30 minutes I can teach:

  • Qaidah nourania
  • Memorization of the Quran with implementation of the tajweed rules and certificate
  • Reading of the Quran with implementation of the tajweed rules and certificate
  • The tajweed rules in a theoretical way
  • Bulugh al maram (explanation of hadith) with learning support
  • Discovery of Islam for beginners with learning support
  • Tafseer of Juzz amma with learning support
  • Fiqh of menstruations with learning support
  • Learning how to pray and make wudu
  • Contemporary issues
  • Stories of sahaba
  • Duas
  • Roqya

I also offer ijaza preparation courses:

  • I correct the student’s reading from the beginning to the end of the Quran
  • I ask questions about the rules of tajwid as I read to check that the student knows how to recognize the rules of tajwid and apply them
  • I ask the student to explain to me some rules of tajwid as if she were a teacher

In addition, the following services are added:

  • I use technological tools.
  • I create my own PowerPoint presentations
  • I send reports to parents when the need arises
  • I carry out a detailed personal follow-up of the child’s progress
  • I am available non-stop between classes on WhatsApp or Zoom so students and parents can contact me at any time.
  • I do quizzes sometimes to check the correct understanding of tajweed rules
  • I adapt the lessons according to the needs and according to the evolution of the student
  • I spend time trying to understand the personality of the student in order to better help them
  • I do research on the internet to better understand the child when s/he has particular difficulties (dyslexia, autism, concentration problems, etc.)
  • I adapt the tools according to the difficulties (dyslexia, autism, etc.)
  • I communicate non-stop with parents so that we work together for the good sake of the student
  • I give homework that I correct in between lessons
  • I teach the student to be better organized and independent whatever their age by explaining organizational techniques
  • All students, even children, are trained to send me audios or photos of their homework on Zoom or WhatsApp
  • I refuse to change time slots in order to force students to organize their lives around the Quran and not the other way around!!!
  • For religion classes, I encourage the student to think deeper in order to ensure that s/he meditates and reflects and makes connections with their life.
  • I encourage the student to have a critical thinking by using specific texts
  • I encourage and coach those who want to become teachers in the future
  • Student can record lessons for their revisions
  • I send links of my recitations so that the student can listen to me when they revise
  • I explain the origin of the tajweed rules so that the student understands why they have to apply them , and therefore memorizes them better and knows how to explain them in turn
  • I challenge my students on their abilities because many underestimate their abilities
  • I make Islamic reminders when necessary
  • I sometimes take the time after class to talk with my students and coach them in their personal lives by reminding them of Islamic principles that can help them solve their problem or put things into perspective.
  • I also do business coaching for students who need help for their project
  • For children, I also teach them good manners
  • I don’t forget to make my students (young and old) laugh by clowning around sometimes because good humour is essential to love what you do.

All this is possible for me because Allah has made it easy for me. I have a 20-year career as a project management consultant, hence my organizational skills and my high standards. I was also a manager for nearly 20 years, hence the fact that I manage to identify personalities, identify training needs and create the tools to train them. I had a very picky Quran teacher, which means that I am too. And I have always been intellectually curious and therefore I always seek to deepen my skills, to seek excellence in what I do.
